Placing Your Bets

Whether you're playing roulette at a casino such as Casino Action or just a regular casino, the first thing you'll want to know is how to place a bet.

There are several different ways you can place bets in a game of roulette. Like playing the numbers in the lottery, placing a straight bet is the least likely way to win since the wheel must land specifically on that number. The odds of winning when you place a straight bet are 35 to one compared to six to one in a six line bet where you are betting that any one of six numbers will come up when the dealer spins the wheel.

You can also play what is called outside bets such as betting that a certain color will come up or an even or odd number.  You might also wager a bet that the next number will between one and eighteen (low bet) or high bet (between nineteen and thirty six).
